anzuk are supporting a vibrant Secondary school in Bristol with their recruitment for a Student Support Worker from September 2022! This will be a permanent role and both Full and Part time hours will be considered.

  • Bristol based secondary school under 30 minutes from the city centre
Responsibilities:
  • Foster strong relationships with students to help engage their learning
  • Work as a part of a larger pastoral team supporting vulnerable students
  • Working with the safeguarding team and outside agencies to ensure students are safe and protected 
  • Utilise school reporting systems and ensuring student files are kept up to date 
  • Promote inclusivity across the school
  • Work with teaching staff to ensure effective learning is taking place
  • Contribute towards and maintain ILP's, IBP's & EHCP's
  • Help with the de-escalation of behaviours 
  Application Requirements:
  • Experience working with secondary aged pupils 
  • Experience working with SEND is beneficial
  • An up-to-date and detailed CV covering 10 years work/ education history 
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
  • References to cover most recent 2 years
