Part Time Art teacher required in Bristol for September 2022!

A MAT is looking for a passionate and creative Teacher of Art to inspire the next generation of artists and designers for a school in Bristol!

The Role:

  • Teach Art at KS3 and GCSE levels, planning outstanding lessons and engaging students in your subject
  • Target the unique learning needs of students of various demographics, including pupil premium, SEND and high prior attainers 
  • Engage in enriching CPD, developing pedagogy and sharing best practice
  • Assess student learning through the use of assessment, reporting on progress throughout the year and during meetings with colleagues and parents.
The Ideal Art Teacher will:
  • Encourage students to develop their views of the natural world, and how they can express this in a variety of disciplines
  • Be proficient in using visual software such as Photoshop, and have an understanding of Art at a secondary level
  • Hold high expectations of work and behaviour
  • Be personable and approachable, building strong relationships with students
  • Demonstrate an enthusiasm for Art
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE)
