Maths Teacher needed for Secondary School in South Gloucestershire

A Secondary School in South Gloucestershire are recruiting a Qualified Maths Teacher for a September 2022 start!

An Ofsted rated 'good' secondary school based in South Gloucestershire are recruiting a Maths Teacher to join its ambitious team. The school aims to support all its students to be the best possible version of themselves, enabling them to have a positive impact in society and lead a happy, purposeful lives. This school is also part of a large multi academy trust with great ambition and who encourage the networking of staff between all of their schools.

The Role:

  • Full-time role starting September 2022 until October half-term (with the potential to extend)
  • Plan and deliver a broad, balanced and differentiated Mathematics Curriculum for students across KS3 and KS4 
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students including marking, grading and giving written/verbal feedback where  required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Be able to demonstrate initiative as well as meeting the changing needs in the environment
  • Be ICT proficient and have an excellent knowledge of the requirements of the Maths Curriculum
  • Be able to build effective relationships and be a positive role model for the students
  • Hold the appropriate degree, UK QTS or equivalent and a valid right to work in the UK
  • NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply
