Learning Support Assistant
anzuk are looking for a caring, hard-working & enthusiastic LSA to work 121 with a student with SEN in a secondary school
anzuk is working with one of it's partner secondary schools to help recruit an LSA to work 1-2-1 with a student with SEN. The role will be full time, ongoing and will start ASAP, as soon as the right candidate becomes available.
The ideal candidate will:
- On this occasion a male LSA has been requested due to the needs of the student, however all applications will be considered
- Have experience working within an SEND setting, specifically working with ADHD students
- Have a caring and enthusiastic nature
- Have a genuine passion for special educational needs
- Have knowledge of working strategies for day to day tasks with SEND students
- Be open-minded and flexible to changes in daily programming
- Be adaptable to cater for a diverse range of student needs and disabilities
- Additional training in SEND would be beneficial but not essential
Your responsibilities include: - Working 1:1 with special needs student with ADHD
- Supporting the participation of students in an inclusive education system
- Supporting transitions for students within the school and outside the community
- Building rapport with both staff and students
- Following directions and guidelines outlined by teacher
