Early Childhood Teacher - Hawthorn area

Lead the 4yo program at this Exceeding, community based service located in the inner suburbs.


The Centre 

Our client is a highly regarded, small community based, non-for-profit service located in Melbourne's inner-south suburbs renowned for its commitment to the local community, its very low staff turnover and fantastic management team.
The centre is located within few minutes walk from public transport so would suit somebody either on public transport or driving.

The Opportunity

The right candidate for this role will be a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher who values the importance of relationships, communication and commitment. 

As the KT, your main responsibility will be to guide a group of up to 22 children, as well as to lead,plan and implement an excellent child focused program for those in your care. You will encourage learning and let children experience the wonders of the world in this bright and friendly environment. 

You will also develop excellent relationships with the parents and the wider school community. This is a full-time position available immediately.  You will work alongside experienced and professional Diploma educators and you will have a full day for planning.   
The Candidate

You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS and be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as be comfortable talking to families. Ideally you will have had several years experience within the childcare industry.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you will hold;

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent 
  • VIT Card
  • Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis
