This Preschool in the Balgowah area, located close to the spit bridge, presents a unique part time opportunity. The exceeding rated service has a philosophy focused towards education and the school readiness program. They have a large emphasis on early numeracy, literacy and science and combine this with play based learning. They also explore many other areas such as languages and sustainability. The longstanding team are extremely friendly and supportive with staff to children ratios being well above the average, and over half the staff being Bachelor qualified. The Director and owners aim to be as flexible as possible to accommodate the needs of their staff therefore providing the option to have school holidays off. The Kindergarten is open 48 weeks of the year, and operates between 8.30-3.30 creating a fantastic work-life balance.
This is a fantastic part time, permanent position to work in a beautiful Kindergarten commencing in January 2020. As the Early Childhood Teacher you will be planning and implementing the school readiness program which has been carefully combined with the primary curriculum to give children the best possible preparation for school. You will work alongside the longstanding, committed team and will receive excellent rates of pay. This position would suit both Early Childhood Teachers with a philosophy towards structured education or a duel qualified Primary Teacher.
The Ideal Teacher
To apply for this role, you will have had experience working in a Kindergarten or a philosophy towards educational based learning. You must have a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Educator (or ACECQA approved equivalent). In addition, you will have an in depth knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and School Readiness.
